This playful and stylish clutch features a cotton front that has been hand-embroidered with a graphic water-buffalo pattern in shades of red, cream and brown. The back and top handle are brown leather.

This bag is embroidered by women in central Chitral, in the mountains of Northern Pakistan. Here there are very few socially acceptable work opportunities for women outside the home. The production of these exquisite bags brings women artisans together and connects them to outside markets. Each is a piece of living art.
